Fugitive barangay captain Noel Ayalin who is facing charges for four counts of murder and three counts of frustrated murder, was reported to have been sighted in Igbaras, Iloilo, and Roxas City in Capiz, Supt. Rosauro Francisco, Silay police chief in Negros Occidental, said while at the same time saying that he still believes Ayalin is still in in Negros Occidental but hiding outside of Silay City.
Various information on whereabouts of Ayalin are now being pursued by various law enforcement agencies. However there are also reports that Ayalin is already dead but Francisco, said he has not received such reports.
Negros Occidental Gov. Alfredo Marañon Jr. who offered a P500,000 bounty for the arrest of Ayalin, also dismissed the report as false and clarified that he has not yet released any reward for the alleged death of Ayalin.
Justice remains elusive for the families of the four Kapitan Ramon barangay kagawads who were shot dead by Ayalin on March 6 in Silay City. Three other barangay officials were also injured in that shooting spree.
Francisco said he believes nobody in his right mind will coddle Ayalin, who is now a fugitive.* GPB
